About this deal

This is not a huge deal but it is worth noting you don’t have that really crisp response time you get with a Stryfe or spring powered blasters. As a global company based in the US with operations in other countries, Etsy must comply with economic sanctions and trade restrictions, including, but not limited to, those implemented by the Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the US Department of the Treasury.

The hopper holds 100 Rival rounds, more than doubling the capacity of the Khaos (although the latter does use magazines). The battery pack is stronger and lasts much longer than the D cell batteries, not to mention much cheaper in the long run. I believe the plastic make up of this product makes it fragile in nature, at what this product costs, I feel it should be made of a more durable material. By the time of Endwar, a happy accident forced my hand; I broke off one of the tabs to the agitator/belt pusher motor (oops). As with all flywheelers you have to rev the blaster for a moment to spin up the flywheels before pulling the trigger or you get a very weak shot.

In addition to complying with OFAC and applicable local laws, Etsy members should be aware that other countries may have their own trade restrictions and that certain items may not be allowed for export or import under international laws. If you find your Nemesis will not spin up, the first thing to check is whether the hopper door is shut. If you are involved in a day-long NERF war, being able to sling your blaster during “breaks” is so much more convenient. The firing mechanism is similar to the Khaos and Hyperfire in that it uses a conveyor belt system to deliver the darts to the flywheels rather than the pusher arm used in earlier NERF blasters like the RapidStrike. Unlike other Rival blasters, like the Perses, where you can only feed rounds directly into the blaster, the hopper chamber on the Nemesis is detachable. The high Impact rounds are smaller and lighter than the N-Strike darts, so they just seem to run out of steam, it’s weird!
